Teachers day in India commemorates the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan. As a teacher, Vice President and second President of India. India traditionally celebrates Guru Purnima, The birthday of Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan (5 September) is also celebrated as Teacher’s Day in India since 1962.

Heartfelt speeches by the students of T.Y. B. com were delivered on this teachers day.

Students all across the country observe this day to pay respect to their teachers. It is truly said that teachers are like the backbone of our society. They play a great role in building up the characters of students and shape them to become an ideal Citizens of India.
