Guru Purnima was celebrated by the students of Nirmal Degree College to follow the ongoing tradition of expressing their gratitude towards their Gurus who have contributed towards their overall development. The program was conducted in the gracious prescence of the C.E.O of institution Adv. C.J. Abhyankar, Degree College Principal Dr. Y.S. Kadam, Junior College Principal Mrs. Gandhali Abhyankar and the Vice Principal Dr. Kiran Gajjar. Many of the students participated presenting their thoughts on what they perceive their gurus as. As has always been a tradition at Nirmal Parivar; the students sought blessings from their teachers as their gurus by touching their feet and offering a flower as a token of respect. Some F.Y.Bcom students dedicated songs and others shared their thoughts on this special day meant for their mentors. The Gurus in turn expressed their thankfulness towards the entire cultural team of students for having arranged the program for them. Vote of thanks was delivered by Dr. Y.S. Kadam Sir who appreciated the efforts taken by students.
