HISTORY
Nirmal Education Society as established with a view of imparting quality education to needy students. It also aims at catering the ever growing needs of the knowledgeable society. With this view as the mission was to impart qualitative education was established in Kandivali West in the year 2007. Since the growth of the institution was commendable. Degree College of Commerce was established in the year 2007 in Kandivali.
The institution which was sowed like a seed has grown in to gigantic tree of more than 1000 students at present. The growth of the institution is attributed to extremely dedicated and hardworking teaching as well as non-teaching staff.

Nirmal Degree College of Commerce was instituted with a vision of becoming
leading educational institution in providing relevant knowledge in all areas related to Commerce. The institution endeavors to cultivate creative and productive aptitudes of students and faculties alike in order to shape responsible citizens of society. Also, imparting quality education remains the main motto of our institution. We aim at nurturing a value system, enhancing knowledge and skills to enable overall personality development of the students as well as staff.

Nirmal Education Society was established with a view of imparting quality education to needy students. It also aims at catering the over growing needs of the knowledgeable Society with this view, the first college was established in the vicinity of Ghatkopar (East) with 15 students only.
The college endeavors for academic excellence and promotion of co-curricular and extra-curricular activities, that promote resilience, creativity and leadership qualities among the students. The institution places great emphasis on inculcating in its students the importance of ethics, hard work and commitment towards excellence.
The college endeavors to groom its students as icons of tomorrow potentially contributing to Commerce Trade, industry and management. The College inculcates character building qualities like discipline and punctuality in students. It provides a platform for students to organize various sports and cultural events to participate in various intercollegiate events and to achieve excellence in extra curricular activities. The College has an exceptionally committed staff comprising of the members of who work with most diligence under efficient guidance of the I/C Principal Dr. Y. S. Kadam.

In NES, the entire teaching staff strives to impart the kind of teaching that helps our students to engage critically, creatively and relevantly with life in a fast changing and uncertain world. A vision for mission of shaping good community builders in all our students underpins all our teaching and learning.
Students too are provided opportunities to make a regular practical contribution towards self-development as well as towards the society at large. The main motive always remains to develop a personal, social and spiritual awareness that will result in pattern of life-long learning Process.
