Nirmal Degree College of Commerce ensures imparting various techniques through which equality of genders can be inculcated amongst students. This becomes necessary so that both genders are taught to be sensitive enough towards each other and instill mutual respect.
This year too, a Self-Defense Programme was arranged for the benefit of female students wherein Prof. Saroj Lohar; being the head of Women Development cell organised the said workshop where Dr. Sonali Nandu spoke on the importance of learning techniques of sell-defense. She also display some methods / ways through which females can protect themselves from unwarranted misshapen / events.
Prof. Saroj Lohar also delivered a motivational speech on the said matter and empharised that learning techniques of self – defense is urgent need of current times. The session ended with vote of thanks by the Coordinator of institution.
