The concept of the cultural committee is of the recent past. The cultural activities bring to the surface the hidden talents of students. Cultural Committee of Nirmal Degree College conducts a number of events and motivates the student to participate in them. The college organized the fest; TARANG -2017-2018, wherein we arranged various
events and it went on for almost 5 days. The date wise events were scheduled as follows :
8th January – Rangoli, T-shirt painting, Nail art.
9th January – Mehendi, Makeup, and Hairstyle, Face painting.
10th January – Khana Khazana, Tattoo making, quiz competition.
11th January – Fancy dress, Elocution, Personality contest, Singing competition.
12th January – Prize Distribution.
To organize these events for the students, the college was fully decorated. Students get motivated through such events as a result of which they come to know about their hidden talents.
Apart from this, every year in the month of January, we celebrate “MILAP” our Annual Day. It gives an opportunity to showcase students’ energies and passion to perform various activities like group dance, solo dance, singing, etc that were held on the said day. Prize distribution function also took place on the same day to provide recognition to the students and to deserving staff members. Fresher’s party and farewell party were also organized for the purpose of the orientation of new students.
