Voter ID is one of the most important documents needed for Indian Citizens as it enables them to carry out their voting duty. Voting is the foundation of a democratic country and it is imperative for every individual to do so. Voting is an important right in our society. By voting you are making your voice heard and registering your opinion on how you think the government should operate. Considering this our Nirmal Education Society’s Degree College every year organizes a Voter’s ID campaign in the college premises in the month of June and July. Through this campaign, we aware the students about Voting duty and importance of Voter ID. Elections Officer’s visit our college to give the guidelines about it. Our College Lecturer’s follow the instructions of the Elections Officer’s and accordingly instruct the students to fill up the forms. Notice and list of document to be submitted will be displayed on the notice board. Proper guidance is given to the students and they are encouraged to fill the forms. So many students participate in this campaign every year and we get overwhelming response from the students and they get Voter’s ID.
