Nirmal Degree College of Commerce successfully conducted the event of tree plantation at institutional level.
As we all know that the whole world is facing the problem of global warming and to recover from such problem planting the trees has become one of the most important issue in today scenario.

The students were extremely happy to participate in this noble initiative. The formal programme was followed by the planting of saplings of different species around the college premises. The Principal Dr. Y. S. Kadam gave inspirational speech to the student. As trees remove carbon-di-oxide from the air as they grow, tree planting can be used as geo engineering technique to remove CO 2 from the atmosphere. As he also focused on not only planting the trees but also to safeguard the trees from being cut.

The event ended with the photo session with all planting the saplings followed by the:
Principal thanking all present there for extending the support and making the event a success.
